Medicine and Wellness: the Health event open to all.

Event - SaluTO 2022

Scientific popularization in medicine is a delicate and important task that enables the population to be properly oriented to health protection. This is the fundamental purpose of the School of Medicine of the University of Turin, which inspired the SaluTO project, shared with the City of Turin and YEG!

The fourth edition of SaluTO involved medical specialists and professors from the School of Medicine of the University of Turin, the Polytechnic University of Turin, along with well-known personalities from the world of entertainment, cultural and sports ambassadors, with the usual goal of refuting fake news and promoting correct information on health issues.

Main theme: the impact of environmental and genetic factors on our physical and mental health status.

The program, which opened with a symposium dedicated to how our genetic variability can help us better understand our aptitudes, or even our origins, was then divided into several Talk Shows, in which experts analyzed, in an interactive way, current issues pertaining to health, wellness and biomedical technologies.

Parallel to the Talks, an area was set up with booths dedicated to meeting between citizens and medical residents from UniTO’s School of Medicine.

In the run-up to the event, a number of initiatives were carried out to create and engage the Community and give the event a recognizable and expendable identity in any communication action.
